It is essential to develop habit of reading in children from very young age.  It will not only help them to learn new things and strengthen their vocabulary, but will also make them better writers.  We pay special emphasis to make reading enjoyable for the children from very young age.  They slowly transit from board books to novels intriguingly.

 Early math skills include sense of numbers , patterns, measurements, spatial sense, shapes, problem solving, learning to count, among other skills. At Kidzappy we have Mathematics corner where children spend time to play, without even knowing that they are learning Mathematics.

Children have inbuilt drive for discovery.  Children are little scientists as they are eager to observe and make "what if" discoveries about the world around them.

At Kidzappy we have Science corner where our junior scientists perform play based science activities .  Our Junior Science lab is equipped with STEM toys and our loving experts encourage little scientists to explore, investigate, ask questions and perform trial and error and have fun!

Today, children tend to spend most of their time in front of a screen than playing outdoors.

Spending time on outdoor play activities presents extensive benefits such as advance motor skills, lower body mass, improved muscle strength, boost confidence, problem solving skills, improved peer-to-peer skills and appreciation for the environment.  At Kidzappy, children spend quality time playing outdoor games as part of their daily routine.  We also encourage them to learn yoga, meditation and appreciate nature.

 Kids will need to learn how to use traditional computers with keyboards because they will use them at formal K12 schools. Learning on an actual computer will help them understand the basics of hardware and software and boost their typing and mouse skills in a way that touchscreens definitely cannot do.  Kidzappy computer lab for kindergarten children ensures that our KG students are equipped to learn computers with more interest and enthusiasm in years to come.

The children who were taught cursive wrote faster and more controlled. Not only is cursive good for speed of writing, but it also is shown to improve brain development in the areas of thinking, language and working memory. Handwriting leads to stronger academic performance in both reading and math. This statement has been supported by multiple research studies.  At Kidzappy we introduce cursive handwriting at 3+ year age and aim to make our juniors expert in cursive handwriting before they start formal K12 education.

Children become interested in scribbling from around 12-18months.  Scribbling provides sensory enjoyment, independent play and physical movement and supports muscle and hand-eye coordination, as well as emotional release. 

As hand-eye coordination develops and fine motor skills improve, scribbles develops into more controlled attempts to draw an object.

Kidzappy Art corner is equipped with specialized tools for scribbling and art, which makes "Drawing" fun for children.

Crafting helps to develop fine motor skills, boosts counting and pattern recognition and teaches shapes and colours.  We provide variety of DIY projects to junior makers and encourage them to make their own patterns and crafts.  We constantly refill our craft corner with innovative tools so that our juniors have enough opportunity to explore the world of creativity.  Loving experts are always available to encourage and praise junior makers.

Children are best imitators.  When they pretend to be a doctor or mumma or shopkeeper to name a few, our loving experts design their plays to teach them desired skills through their games.

Kidzappy theatre also works to develop public speaking skills in children from a very young age so that they don't face stage-fear in years to come.
